About the Studio
Signature Rose is a relaxing environment that offers a private, appointment only tattoo experience for clients. The private studio has a very minimalist design, an art gallery feels and offers plenty of nice plants and candles to ease the mind and help you relax.
There is plenty of comfortable seating available and is suitable for entertaining small groups and available to entertain private parties. The private studio is owned and operated by award winning tattoo artist Daniel Stewart, who is known best for his detailed black and grey tattoos. He enjoys providing a relaxing customer focused private tattoo session that provides a calm environment and a professional experience for his clients.
Signature Rose serves Central Indiana with a quality custom tattooing service while providing a clean, calm and a professional environment for his clients.
Clients come from Indianapolis, Ft. Wayne, Noblesville, Greenfield, Carmel, Fishers, Chicago and even as far as Alaska visit to get work done! He has built up a loyal following in Ohio as well. With 30 years of experience, he enjoys and appreciates the time spent doing his very best artwork for you! The appointment only private tattoo studio is located in Muncie Indiana and only a 10-minute walk from Ball State University.
Daniel enjoys getting to know his clients and does his best to make sure they feel at home in this clean and comfortable space!

Daniel Stewart is a professional tattoo artist based in Muncie Indiana.
The son of an artistic mother and father, he got his start drawing pictures for his parents on the coffee table. Eventually that love for art would carry through high school until he would get trained as a tattoo apprentice from Jim Bryan in 1993.
After high school, He joined the military and enlisted as a combat medic and a medical laboratory technician. The military and medical field helped him envision the future to help promote safer tattooing practices in the industry. After his enlistment he began to pursue his dream, work for other studios and gained experience until he opened his own studio at age 26.
Daniel was blessed to have owned and operated Lucky Rabbit Tattoo in Muncie Indiana. He founded and ran the award-winning studio for 20+ years while gaining a loyal client base. After a solid 20+ years he decided to downsize and open Signature Rose and offer something different to the community.
Lucky Rabbit as well as his artwork, and tattoo art has been featured in multiple national and international magazines, blogs as well as regional and local newspapers. During this time, he attended conferences, collaborated with other artists and maximized his opportunities as he would eventually teach advanced black and grey seminars at major conventions around the US. He was thankful l to be sponsored by several top tattoo industry brands.
His previous studio was grateful to receive the Muncie’s Finest award from 2006-2018 The Best of Ball State 2010,2015,2016 and Best of 2020, 2021 Reader’s Choice Award winner and 2022 runner up by the Ball State, Muncie, and Delaware County communities!
He is always excited when pursuing projects that allow him to serve the community with his very best artwork!
