The son of an artistic mother and father, he got his start drawing pictures for his parents on the coffee table. Eventually that love for art would carry through high school until he would get trained as a tattoo apprentice from Jim Bryan in 1993.

After high school, He joined the military and enlisted as a combat medic and a medical laboratory technician. The military and medical field helped him envision the future to help promote safer tattooing practices in the industry. After his enlistment he began to pursue his dream, work for other studios and gained experience until he opened his own studio at age 26.

Daniel worked very hard and felt very blessed to have owned and operated Lucky Rabbit Tattoo, in Muncie Indiana. He founded and ran the award-winning studio for 20+ years while gaining a loyal client base. After a solid 20+ years he decided to chase another dream, downsize and open Signature Rose and offer something different to the community.

Lucky Rabbit as well as his artwork, and tattoo art has been featured in multiple national and international magazines, blogs as well as regional and local newspapers. During this time, he attended conferences, collaborated with other artists and maximized his opportunities as he would eventually teach advanced black and grey seminars at major conventions around the US. He was thankful l to be sponsored by several top tattoo industry brands.

His previous studio received the Muncie’s Finest award from 2006-2018 The Best of Ball State 2010,2015,2016 and Best of 2020, 2021 Reader’s Choice Award winner and 2022 runner up by the Ball State, Muncie, and Delaware County communities!  Now a new chapter begins!

He is always excited when pursuing projects that allow him to serve the community with his very best artwork!
