Some things I like to keep in mind is how much I can afford each month for a payment! Once you have that information, I would start planning my tattoo goals. But here are some finance options you may not know about.

Afterpay is a service we use to help finance a tattoo expense over 6 weeks. How Afterpay works is that you sign up and get approved before you come in at afterpay.com
When you use Afterpay at the store, they pay the retailer in full and upfront on your behalf. You pay for the first instalment of 25% at the time of purchase, and the remaining three instalments will be automatically deducted from your nominated debit or credit card over the following six weeks. You pay for your items in 4 equal instalments over 6 weeks, without incurring any interest. There is spending limit starting at $600 and it increases slowly as you pay it off on time.
How can you use it to finance your tattoos? The majority of my tattoo sessions run anywhere from 2 -6 hours. If it is a large tattoo, we will naturally break it up into smaller pieces. People usually reschedule when they are ready for the next session, for this example to work it’s best you can plan a large piece and break each session into 3 hours (the minimum financed) pay for 25% up front (1 hour or $200) and get a 4 hour session every 6 weeks, if you can budget $75/week to set aside for the Afterpay payments.
Layaway Plans are available for the more proactive types that want to save up first slowly for their sessions. Every bit is tracked in the POS system and when you have reached your savings goal, we can schedule your appointment! Payments can be made online or via an email link for your convenience!
